John Finke
Chief Executive Officer and President

John Finke serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of HickoryTech Corporation, and as a Director on the HickoryTech Board. Prior to this appointment in 2006, John served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at HickoryTech. He has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, and has been with HickoryTech since 1996. Prior to joining HickoryTech, he held numerous engineering and management positions with GTE Telephone Operations and Contel of Indiana. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
